Some rules we chose that we maybe like to use for this project:
- Plagiarism is a form of fraud. (page 13)
- If a student passes away during the study year, one twelfth of the paid statutory tuition fee per month of the study year following their death will be reimbursed. (page 19)
- A reduction in, exemption from or reimbursement of the examination fees paid by an external student will only be possible in the event of their death. (page 19)
- If a student passes away during the study year, one twelfth of the paid statutory tuition fee per month of the study year following their death will be reimbursed.
- f. The right to a smoke-free study environment. (page 23)
- a. The right to be forgotten;
Group A5, 'Stokstaartjes'
What does the rule mean?
100% smoke-free environments require the elimination of all smoking and tobacco smoke indoors.
Why does this rule exists?
Everybody deserves to live, work, study and play in smokefree environments. By implementing laws and policies to make our communities smokefree, we can:
- Protect all workers and patrons from the dangers of secondhand smoke
- Reduce death and diseases associated with secondhand smoke
- Motivate smokers to quit
- Reduce the number of people who start smoking
- Between beauty and ugly
- Our own experiences
- Freedom to smoke, do what i want with my body
- Benefits of smoking (social, slow breathing, taking a break etc.)
- Consequences for others/non-smokers
- Comparisons between people that like it and people that dont
- Aesthetic of smoking
- Collage of pictures of people smoking

The Rule we chose is : 'The right to a smoke-free study environment.'
We chose this rule because it is kind of funny that when you will visit the academy, there will always be people smoking infront of the entrance of the school.
We want to find either a funny way to make people aware of this or find a solution to this problem.
Research
Today we went to the academy to discuss our plan with the teacher. She told us that our original plan was a little to far from the rule.
So we came up with a new plan.
If you think about it, there are lot of benefits of smoking. For us there are 3 main benefits. One is them is that smoking gives you a break and allows you to take a step back for a minute. Second is that it makes u go outside. You make a little walk or simply stand outside to just leave the space and clear your thoughts. And the last one and maybe the biggest benefit, the social part of smoking. Smokers feel overall very connected to each other. They share their cigarettes and lighters to even people they have never met before. This way you also are allowed to make new friends really easily and have small talk with others, people u know or even complete strangers.
But obviously we can not ignore the fact that smoking will, probably kill u. And that it is incredibly bad for you and your health.
So we want to make a better solution with all the benefits of smoking but without it affecting your health. We came up with a game. We are going to design our own pack of cigarettes but instead of cigarettes, there will be rolled pieces of paper with questions on them in there.
This way you can take a little break from your work and focus on some fun question instead of your thoughts for a second. Plus it makes you go outside and go search for the package. And lastly you can make it as social as you want, because the questions will be very good conversation starters if you do it with others. But if you want you can also just do it by yourself.
We decided to name the brand Stokstaartjes. Stokstaartjes or in english Meerkat, are group animals and that fits well with the main goal of this project. Which is still making it easily accesable to be social even when people dont/cant smoke. Also because Meerkat tails kind of look like cigarettes.
For our deaddrop, we want to make a poster with a QR code on it. The QR code will lead to a website that tells about our concept, the gamerules and a location where u can find the Stokstaartjes cigarette package. We will also include a hashtag so people can share their experience and their answers.
